A 20-year New York resident, Julie Pham graduated from Columbia University with a graduate degree in filmmaking and history. She studied literature at Oxford University and earned her BA at the University of Texas at Austin, Phi Beta Kappa. She is a classically trained pianist. Her 2 children attend the Avenues School.
