Corvara in Badia is one of the pearls of the Dolomites, in Italian Tyrol, renowned as one of the most beautiful mountains in the world.
Nestled at 1,568 metres at the foot of the Sassongher massif, Corvara is a Ladin resort framed by breathtaking views, a renowned centre for winter sports and summer outdoor activities, but also the place where meeting exclusive cultural and gastronomic experiences. Overlooking the small square in the historic centre, on the exact spot where the City Hall stood until the early 1980s, the Chalet Valbuna consisting of just three very large, luxury flats is currently being completely renovated (one has already been sold, while the other two are still available).
The chalet, built with high quality materials and with ideal acoustic and comfort performance, will also take care of energy saving.

The building’s energy index will be certified on completion of the work following checks and tests by the CasaClima Agency of the Province of Bolzano, which will issue the appropriate documentation.
This luxury 3 bedroom Chalet Apartment is located on the first floor. With a living area of 189 sqm, it features as well two terraces and a balcony for a total of 57 sqm. The living room and two of the bedrooms overlook the terrace with a view of the Sassongher panorama.
The flat has a large living area with double facing through the large window openings to the two terraces that offer an extraordinary view of the mountains and the village of Corvara.
The living area is completed by a courtesy bathroom, the kitchen and a large laundry room.
The sleeping area features three double bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms.
The flat has two external parking spaces in front of the building, two covered parking spaces and a private cellar/ski-room. The covered parking spaces and ski-room are accessible directly from the flat via the lift.

In this respect, it is worth remembering that wine and gastronomy are among the most outstanding features of the region: the valley has 4 Michelin Stars and the multi-decorated gastronomic restaurants are sure to delight you with extraordinary creations based on the typical flavours of the Ladin region. The area also hosts important sporting and social events. During the Christmas period, it hosts the traditional Christmas market.
From a hosting point of view, Corvara not only proposes the best luxury hotels in Alta Badia, but also refined boutiques and chic fashion shops, handicrafts such as weaving and artistic sculptures and typical specialities.
The parish church of San Vigilio in Colfosco, with a Gothic core and a nave enlarged in the mid-19th century, and the church of Santa Caterina are very characteristic.
Thanks to its privileged position on Sellaronda, the hike around the Sella massif, in winter with skis and in summer with the bike, Corvara offers unforgettable skiing holidays and active holidays in the most unspoilt nature.
Renowned ski area with modern lifts and slopes always perfect for the needs of the most expert skiers. There are 1,200 km of Dolomiti Superski slopes available, including the very close and famous Gran Risa, scene of the Audi FIS Ski World Cup in the specialities of giant slalom and parallel giant slalom. And, after a day on the snow, let yourself be carried away by the festive atmosphere of the après-ski in the region’s refuges.
In summer, as well as discovering the surrounding mountains on foot or on two wheels, you can also go horse riding: there are several riding schools of the famous Haflinger breed, typical of the area. Don’t miss a game of golf on the Tranrüs de Corvara, a 9-hole green at an altitude of 1,700 m, considered the highest in Europe.
